Family Portrait Photo Shoot in Cork

There doesn’t always need to be a special occasion or event to have family photos taken. Life can move fast, so it’s good to stop every now and then, and capture those moments before they become memories.
Shooting in nature is something I enjoy a lot. Be it in Fitzgerald’s Park, the Ballycotton cliffs or even your own back garden, the greenery always adds a lovely touch to a family photo shoot. Natural one might say. And that is exactly what these family photos should look like; natural. Natural poses and interactions, and natural backgrounds.
My aim with every family portrait photo shoot is to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible. This doesn’t just create a more positive experience, but also translates into fun photos that you’ll look back on fondly. And who doesn’t want that?

I am fully supportive of the LGTBQ+ community and want everyone to feel comfortable and safe, no matter what their family set-up might be.

Every family photography package always includes free retouching and editing.

Family Photography and celebrations

As a photographer, I get to be a part of people's lives for a brief but also very intimate moment. I witness and experience the moment that friends and family are there to see: to celebrate a big family event in your life. I enjoy being part of that journey, capturing these moments on camera for you to have for the rest of your life.

Photographing events in and around Cork city in a documentary style of photography is important to me; it allows me to capture real emotions and real moments. This style of family photography is less obtrusive, allowing you to simply enjoy your family’s special day. Documentary photography (instead of posed and stylized photography) allows for people to enjoy themselves while I capture you and your family in a genuine way.

No matter what the occasion, be it an anniversary, a family reunion or a special birthday, I can set up a family photo shoot in any environment (interior or exterior) or weather. I have many years’ experience as a wedding photographer in Cork so I know how to organise a large group while keeping the environment relaxed.
